| TailSpin began in early 2009 with original members Dan, Tony, Vince, and Josh.
The band rehearsed and went through a few different guitarists/vocalists while developing it's songlist over a period of several months. In January 2010, Vince rejoined the band and TailSpin performed it's first show at the Oak Forest Bowl on January 16, 2010. The members of TailSpin are talented musicians with experience ranging over 10 to 35 years. Our show is rich with excellent musicianship and great vocal harmonies. We play a wide variety of classic rock and roll covers spanning five decades, everything from 50's-60's surf music to classic 60's-70's rock, and hits through the 70's, 80's, and 90's. We think the music we play isn't way too loud nor too heavy, it's just great bar and party music to enjoy! |
We are currently in the midst of re-recording our demo cd.
The new cd, to feature 8-10 of Tailspin's most popular songs, looks to be a promising project. "A lot of work goes into performing, recording and producing the cd's. " Says bandmate Tony. "It's a great way to keep the guys in your head and ears! It's a great promotional tool. It let's potential bookings hear the sound." Says the Tailspin Webmaster. As always, Tailspin will be handing out demo cd's to those signed up to the e-mailing list.
